KIN means GOLD. So everybody says 『Kinkakuji』but formal name is『Rokuonji』!
Actually I didn’t know!! Surpreise!!!
Maybe, most of Japanese don’t know formal name.

On the other hand,

This is 『Ginkakuji』.
GIN means SILVER.
But this is not covered in Silver.
Formal name is 『jishoji』.Of course I didn’t know…
Ginkakuji is world heritage and famous as beautiful garden!
